Welcome to Cats Protection - East Devon Branch

Our vision is a world where every cat is treated with kindness and an understanding of its needs

Updated August 21 2017

All of our cats have been examined by a veterinary surgeon, been vaccinated against flu and enteritis, treated against fleas, roundworm and tapeworm and any sick cats have been blood tested for FIV and FeLV. They are also identity chipped and neutered when they are old enough. The cost of all this is around £200 per cat, so we do ask for a standard adoption fee of £50. However, depending on circumstances, we can be flexible. We do not have a homing centre but foster homes spread throughout East Devon where volunteers look after cats until they are homed.

When you are ready to adopt a cat, contact the fosterer who will be able to tell you more about the cat you are interested in adopting.

We will arrange a home visit to ensure we have a cat to suit your circumstances.

Arrange with the fosterer to meet your potential new family member.

Please be patient when contacting our fosterers, they are all volunteers and are not always able to answer the phone.
